KINGTON SHOW - SATURDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER 2008

Following the exceptional successes of Kington Show last year, with the largest entries recorded of Pedigree Hereford Cattle and visitors attending, Kington Show will be held again at the picturesque site of The Ovals Farm, Kington, in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside, possibly the last remaining one-day livestock show in Herefordshire.

Kington Show is a traditional agricultural show with Horse, Cattle, Sheep, Dog and Horticultural Classes together with Young Farmers Competitions, Shearing and Farrier Competitions.

The Poultry Show will continue after a very successful first year in 2007, thanks mainly to the support of The Herefordshire Poultry Society. The Carcase Competition, was a huge success last year with 50 carcases on display in the NSA carcase unit, this again will be partly sponsored by EBLEX, with John Isherwood, MLC giving demonstrations on the day.

OPENING TIMES: 9am-6pm.

ENTRY FEES: £7 adults, £5 pensioners, £3 10-16 year olds, children up to 10 years free.
