Horticultural & Domestic

Everyone enjoys a visit to the Horticulture tent to admire the exhibits and it buzzes all afternoon with visitors after the judges have made their decisions.   Come and admire the cakes, breads, pies, jams, curds and chutneys in the domestic sections or why not have a go yourself and enter a class or two.  There is floral art, art and photography, a wide range of handicrafts including embroidery, crochet and knitting, plus a wonderful children’s section which are open to children up to the age of 12.  New last year were classes specifically for under 18's across a variety of sections.
Are you an accomplished grower, or maybe just enjoy your garden? We encourage everyone to enter, so don't think your flowers, plants, fruit or vegetables are not good enough to exhibit. GIVE IT A GO! Not an experienced grower or exhibitor? Don't let that worry you - why not enter the Novice section.  Newcomers to all classes are always most welcome and the most important aspect of our Horticulture section is that everyone can have a go!
We hope the displays provide inspiration and motivation to get new people cooking / crafting and growing and exhibiting each year.
We look forward to seeing you at the show. It is you, the exhibitor, who makes the Show a great success by creating a wonderful diversity of imagination and effort.
